Starting with Epson Photographic Ink Technology and Epson extraordinary ULTRAChrome HDR pigment inks, coupled with Canson’s and Hahnemühle 100% acid free cotton archival papers to achieve the best print possible. Thomas Editions’ processes all start and end in a color managed environment. Since 2001, I have been using Eizo CG monitors, regarded as the top monitor in the photo and pre-press industry. To obtain that best possible print, each paper and substrate has been carefully and expertly profiled. Paper Profiling allows the full potential of your images to come through on paper, in color accuracy, overall color gamut, maximum black and shadow detail. I run a boutique printing shop, personalized, and dedicated to your satisfaction. This type of service is not available at large commercial labs. They may have the same equipment, but they do not have my passion and experience for making beautiful prints. At Thomas Editions perfection, exact color rendition, color fidelity and tonally balanced black and white prints are what my clients have come to expect. This is NOT a “do everything” lab, I only have one service, making prints. Education is another way I help you deliver the best image to me for printing. I will work with you to achieve optimal quality from your digital file or scan.
WE PRINT WITH PASSION Platine Fibre Rag, Arches Aquarelle, and Baryla Prestige from Canson are three of our premiere papers—as are Photo Rag, William Turner and Fine Art Baryta by Hahnemuhle. Print prices include free consultation, 8×10 test print, up to 15min file prep (spotting, resizing/cropping, and color adjustments). Extensive corrections are charged at Digital Retouching rates. The inks have an archival life averaging 100+ years under proper conditions.
TURNAROUND 3 days, 2-day service is available. Additional papers are available, but may carry a profiling charge. If you are interested in archival documentation, please visit the Wilheim Certification website; http://www.wilheim-research.com. All canvas print substrates are museum quality, acid free/archival, and have been carefully chosen to render the best color fidelity and tonal range. Canvases can be finished in either glossy, satin, or matte finishes. You will be amazed at the beauty that we can bring from your file to canvas. We use Lyve Canvas from Breathing Color.
